The GRS Solution | Nifty, Sensex end higher for fifth straight day:-
Nifty and Sensex closed higher for the fifth consecutive trading session on Tuesday. Nifty ended at 10,093 level, up by 87 points, while Sensex closed at 32,158 level, up by 276 points.The GRS Solution.
ITC, Tata Motors and HDFC Bank were the top contributors to the gains of major indices. BPCL was top Nifty gainer, ended at Rs 533.85 per share, up by 4.36% whereas IndusInd Bank was top Nifty loser, closed at Rs 1,741.9 per share, down by nearly 3%.
In the broader markets, BSE Mid-cap index has ended at record closing high level on Monday. The index closed at 16,037 level, up by 1.08%. BSE Small-cap index closed at 16,617.84 level, up by 1.01%. BSE Mid-cap index and BSE Small-cap index touched their all-time high level of 16,050 and 16,629 respectively.
All Bank Nifty constituents ended in positive terrain except IndusInd Bank. Bank Nifty ended at 24,784 level, up by 112 points or 0.46%. Bank of Baroda was the top gainer in the index closed at Rs 142.2 per share, up by Rs 4.75 per share or 3.46%.
BSE Realty index was the top gaining index, which closed at 2,234.9 level, up by 2.11%. Godrej Properties was the top gainer on the index ending at Rs 655.5 per share, up by 8.95%.
Matrimony.com’s IPO opened for subscription from Monday. As of 1530 hours on its second day of subscription, the issue has got oversubscribed by 1.13 times.
