Stock Market Update: BSE Power index down; Adani Power slips over 4%

The S&P BSE Power index was trading 0.24 % down at 1862.61 around 11:45 am. 

The S&P BSE Power index was down with most of its components trading mixed in Today's session. 

Shares of Adani Transmission (up 1.38 %), Torrent Power (up 1.32 %), SiemensNSE 0.95 % (up 1.04 %) and KEC International (up 0.92 %) were the top performers in the index.

STOCK CASH TIPS

Adani Power (down 4.66 %), Suzlon Energy NSE -3.51 % (down 3.50 %), Reliance Infrastructure (down 3.44 %) and CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down 2.16 %) were trading lower. 

The S&P BSE Power index was trading 0.24 % down at 1862.61 around. 

Benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index was up 49.75 points at 11,271.80 while the BSE Sensex was up 206.74 points at 37,525.27. 

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red. 

Shares of India Grid Trust, Vodafone Idea, Spicejet, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Union Bank India, DHFL, Dish TV India, SAIL and ZEEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
