Latest Stock Market Update: OMCs trade in positive; BPCL gains over 2 percent

NSE Benchmark Nifty 50 index was up 103.15 pnts at 11,029. 

OMCs were trading with gains in Wednesday's session with their sectoral index on BSE trading higher.

Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation ( ⇑ 2.52%), Petronet LNGNSE 1.39% ( ⇑ 1.73%), Gujarat State Petronet ( ⇑1.62%) and GAIL (India) ( ⇑ 1.55%) were trading with gains.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation ( ⇑ 1.29 %), Indraprastha Gas ( ⇑ 1.08 %), Reliance Industries ( ⇑ 0.98 %) and Castrol India ( ⇑ 0.52 %0) too were trading higher.

Benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index was up 103.15 pnts at 11,029 while the BSE Sensex was up 355.21 pnts at 37,313.37.

Among Nifty 50 stocks in the index, 40 were trading green, while 9 were in the Negative.

Shares of HDFC Life Insurance Company, Vodafone Idea, Dish TV India, YES Bank, Coal India, NALCO, Spicejet, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
