Shares of Inani Marbles ( ⇑ 5.88 %), MOIL ( ⇑ 4.07 %), Orissa Minerals Development Company ( ⇑ 3.38 %), National Mineral Development Corp ( ⇑ 2.86 %) gained up to 6 %.
KIOCL ( ⇑ 2.08 %), Ashapura Minechem ( ⇑1.92 %) and Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores ( ⇑ 1.46 %) too were among the top gainers.
Madhav Marbles and Granites ( ⇓ 5.92 %), Moryo Industries ( ⇓ 4.94 %) and Shirpur Gold Refinery ( ⇓ 4.55 %) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 144.65 pnts up at 11,584.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 472.39 pnts at 39,065.91.
Indian Oil Corporation ( ⇑ 4.76 %), ICICI Bank ( ⇑ 4.15 %), Kotak Mahindra Bank ( ⇑ 3.59 %), UPL ( ⇑ 2.76 %), State Bank of India ( ⇑ 2.55 %) and Tata Steel ( ⇑ 2.36 %) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, YES Bank ( ⇓ 1.68 %), HCL Technologies ( ⇓ 1.55 %), Infosys ( ⇓ 1.14 %), Tata Consultancy Services ( ⇓ 0.69 %), Cipla ( ⇓ 0.41 %) and Power Grid Corporation of India ( ⇓ 0.25 %) were trading in the red.
