The Nifty Media index was trading 0.11% up at 1714.20.
Media shares were trading in losses.
Shares of DB Corp (down 2.90%) , Den NetworksNSE -2.55 % (down 2.65%) , Dish TV IndiaNSE -3.49 % (down 2.03%) and Navneet Education (down 1.47%) were the top losers in the index.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises (down 0.45%) , Jagran Prakashan (down 0.27%) , Network 18 Media & Investments (down 0.25%) and TV18 Broadcast (down 0.22%) too were trading in the red.
The Nifty Media index was trading 0.11 % up at 1714.20.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 3.55 pnts at 11,238.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 20.06 pnts at 37,900.46.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Indiabulls Housing Finance, SBI, Tata Motors, RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, JSPL, Ashok Leyland and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
