Shares of Reliance Comm (Rs 5.26 cr) , YES Bank NSE -0.92 percent (Rs 4.46 cr) , Dish TVNSE 8.94 percent India (Rs 1.31 cr) , Sintex Inds. (Rs 0.85 cr) , GTL Infra (Rs 0.71 cr) , Sintex Plastics Technology (Rs 0.64 cr) , Bharti Infratel (Rs 0.64 cr) , PNB (Rs 0.55 cr) and Tata Motors (Rs 0.53 cr) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
YES Bank (Rs 256.57 cr) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.
It was followed by Bharti Infratel (Rs 161.28 cr) , ICICI Bank (Rs 149.51 cr) , TCS (Rs 149.47 cr) , Tata Steel (Rs 132.88 cr) , Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 129.31 cr) , Larsen & Toubro (Rs 127.84 cr) , Bharti Airtel (Rs 127.06 cr) , RIL (Rs 110.88 cr) and HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd. (Rs 109.18 cr).
The NSE Nifty index was trading 30.95 pnts ⇓ at 11,963.25, while the BSE Sensex was ⇓ 104.6 pnts at 40,570.85.
In the Nifty index, Bharti Infratel (up 3.90%) , Tata Motors (up 1.74 %) , Bharti Airtel (up 1.02 %) , Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 0.88 %) and Wipro (up 0.84 %) were among the top gainers.
While JSW Steel (⇓ 2.68 %) , YES Bank (⇓ 2.44 %) , Tata Steel (⇓ 1.66 %) , Coal India (⇓ 1.63 %) and Vedanta (⇓ 1.50 %) were the top losers in the index.
